KHEPRA is dedicated to illuminating the often under-told history of the greatest Black minds — from antiquity to the present — whose documented contributions advanced human civilization. Through disciplined scholarship, we let the evidence speak.
Established under the Founding Charter, the Institute operates as a permanent research institution committed to documenting, preserving, and disseminating knowledge of the great Black thinkers, leaders, and innovators whose contributions have shaped human civilization. The Living Canon is our central project — a dynamic, evidence-based record of individuals, not institutions or civilizations.
Every claim in the Living Canon is registered with a unique identifier, assigned an evidence grade (A–D), supported by cited sources, and connected to a transparent reasoning chain. Our methodology is open to scholarly critique and designed for reproducibility. Truth does not fear scrutiny.
